Deveaux had previously served as the assistant women’s basketball coach under coach Seney at Harford Community College during the 2018-2019 season. During that time, he helped coach the team to a 30-2 record where they won regional and district championships while earning an NJCAA Division I national tournament appearance.

Prior to breaking into the college ranks, Deveaux was the head boys JV coach from 2016-2018 at Joppatowne High School and finished with a 35-5 record during that tenure while also serving as the assistant coach for the Varsity team. He also coached boys AAU for Harford County Dream Team/Harford United from 2010-2016.

His basketball playing career took him to Harford Community College from 2005-2007 where he averaged over 11 points per game during those two years. Deveaux then graduated from Bowie State University with a BS in Business Management/Marketing.

"I’m very grateful and excited for the opportunity to continue to lead this program,” said coach Deveaux. “Under the leadership of our athletic director Greg Witkop and coach Mike Seney, we’ve been able to build a national powerhouse and have been able to assist our student-athletes with reaching their goals of playing at the NCAA level. The coaching staff and I are fully committed to maintaining our culture and our commitment to the student-athletes success."
